Benfica are reportedly ready to sell Axel Witsel, who has
been linked with Manchester United and Real Madrid.
The Belgium international only joined the Portuguese club last summer, signing a five-year deal
when he moved from Standard Liege.
But reports in Portugal last month claimed the midfielder
has already told several of his team-mates at the Estadio da Luz that he will
be on the move this summer.

And according to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, Benfica are
ready to let the 23-year-old leave the club this summer - providing their
£20million valuation is met.
Benfica paid Liege around £6.5m for Witsel twelve months
ago.
Several other clubs have shown interest in Witsel, including
AC Milan, Roma, and Premier League champions Manchester City.
Portuguese publication O Jogo recently reported that Man
City captain Vincent Kompany had already made contact with the player to sound
him out about a move to the Etihad Stadium.
