Arsenal put on alert as Arjen Robben admits he is to consider his future at Bayern.

Arsenal will face stiff competition however with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and rivals Tottenham Hotspur all interested in securing the Dutchman's signature.

The former Chelsea and Real Madrid player is likely to be available for as little as £10m as he has just one year remaining on his current deal.

Mourinho back at Stamford Bridge?

Is Mourinho gonna be back at Stamford Bridge after AVB got sacked yesterday? Not unless Torres is sold.

Now Guardiola and Mourinho are competing for the hot seat, which is temporarily filled by Roberto Di Matteo after the departure of Villa-Boas. However, the former legend of Chelsea will only take up this vacancy if Fernando Torres is sold.

It's gonna be tough for the "Special One", since it's not easy to sell Torres now given his performance from the beginning of the season. The Spanish player has managed to go 21 matches without a single goal, and remember that the West Lodon club paid a sum of 50 million pound for Torres, which looks like a very bad investment now.

Nobody denies Mourinho's success at Chelsea, but this "special" request is hard to be granted. Let's see what happens:

Wenger: Gunners can keep Van Persie

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admits they have to do everything in their power to keep captain Robin van Persie at the club.

The Holland striker scored twice, the second in added time, to snatch a 2-1 win at Anfield in a game in which they had been outplayed by Liverpool for long periods. Van Persie, who will not open negotiations on an extension to the contract which expires in 2013 until this summer, showed how valuable he is to the Gunners by taking his tally to 25 goals in as many league matches.

"We will do anything possible to keep him," said Wenger. "I cannot say much more because I have said that many times. I am very proud that he has grown, having seen the boy arrive here timid and today being the player he is and the leader of the team he has become."

He added: "He is playing under big pressure in every game because he knows he has to score - that is excellent development not only as a player but as a human being. He is up there among the best players in the world."

Ferguson targets Rio Ferdinand replacement with a £15m Brazilian Centre-Back?

Vasco’s perilous financial position leaves them vulnerable to offers, and United will be confident of outbidding Benfica, on personal terms as well as an asking price, for a player valued at around £15million.

Bahrain's win over a weakened Indonesia this weekend has raised suspicion, as the Middle East Team needed to make up 9 goals deficit to stand a chance to advance to the next stage of World Cup Qualifying.
