Barca wants Geovinco

In accordance to the player's agent, Sebastian Giovinco is a target of Barcelona.

Giovinco, 25, is part-owned by Juventus and has been strongly linked with a move away from Parma this summer.

"I know that Barcelona has followed Giovinco for some time,'' Giovinco's agent, Antonio D'Amico, told Sportal.it. That a club like Barcelona shows an interest in him gives us great pleasure.

"Giovinco is an important player, he is talented, technically gifted and it's normal that clubs are interested in him.''

Giovinco has scored ten goals in 28 league appearances for Parma this season. "He is doing really well and he will play at Euro 2012,'' D'Amico said.

"As (Italy coach Cesare) Prandelli has stated, he is one of the most talented players in Italy and the European Championship will give him an opportunity to showcase his talent.''

Madrid offers City €10m + Higuain for Aguero

According to Spanish newspaper AS there has already been an offer for the Man City Striker, and Mourinho has given the sign ‘go-ahead’. Sergio 'Kun' Aguero is going to be Real Madrid's number one target this summer.

Real Madrid will offer City Gonzalo Higuain plus 10 million Euros for Aguero. According to journalist Guillem Balague, the reason for Aguero wanting to leave, is that he is not happy with his life in Manchester, and would rather go back to a league and city he is already familiar with.

Aguero, who arrived at Manchester City last summer for 45 million Euros (£37m) has already informed Mancini of his wish to leave the English team, and has made no secret of the fact that he would love to be a 'merengue'.

Higuain would be a great exchange, and since Mancini will lose Aguero, and apparently wanting to sell both Carlos Tevez and Dzeko, Higuain would be first choice striker at City.

Jose Mourinho Agrees to Take Man City Job

Spanish source El Mundo Deportivo have stated today that Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho will leave the Bernabeu and take over at the Etihad Stadium this summer.

Not only do they proclaim this to be a ‘done deal’ they also go as far as to state that the date for the switch will be June 30th, which is a very exact prediction.

Such a move would be something of a shock, not least as Roberto Mancini is of course still in place at Man City and shows no sign of being axed. However if the Italian fails to secure the Premier League this season then perhaps he will be sacked though such a move could be considered harsh even though the club’s owners have shelled out a huge sum assembling a squad that they may feel should be able to secure major honours.

Jose Mourinho has come under fire from some sections of the Real Madrid fanbase over his behaviour and indeed the Portuguese manager has also reportedly seen his relationship with club officials and players deteriorate in recent months, though such reports have been dismissed as mere speculation and clearly any suggestion of a breakdown in relationship between the boss and his players has not prevented his side from marching towards major triumphs.

Real Madrid are well placed to reach the Champions League semi-finals having defeated Cypriot side Apoel Nicosia 3-0 in the away leg of their Quarter Final and despite a shaky few weeks of domestic action Los Blancos are still six points clear at the top of La Liga.

Neymar to spearhead a new brand Barcelona - but it may be without Guardiola

The Brazilian forward has rejected Real Madrid and looks set for a move to Camp Nou in 2013 - but his signing has much to do with a marketing strategy for both Barca and Nike

Neymar is part of a grand plan for Barcelona. The Brazilian forward is edging closer to a move to the Catalan club after rejecting Real Madrid, Goal.com revealed on Tuesday. And his arrival at Camp Nou has everything to do with winning the battle with the club's eternal enemies - but as much off the pitch as on it.

Barcelona were alerted to the possibility of a move for Neymar after talks with Madrid broke down last year, with president Sandro Rosell flying to Brazil on a charm offensive with the player and his father. And whereas Madrid chief Florentino Perez had told the youngster he must respect Real and that he would by no means be guaranteed a place in the first team at the Santiago Bernabeu, Rosell adopted an altogether alternative approach, telling Neymar he would be 'at home' at Camp Nou.

Los Blancos had been in pole position to sign the Brazilian, but the youngster was dissuaded by the arrogant attitude of Florentino Perez and the Catalans plan to take advantage

Neymar will not be joining Real Madrid now or in future and the Brazilian now looks set for a sensational switch to Barcelona after Florentino Perez scuppered his side's chances of a deal for the 20-year-old forward due to an "arrogant attitude", Goal.com can reveal.

No Premier League plans for Messi

Three-time World Player of the Year Lionel Messi says he has no plans to play in the Premier League as he wants to spend the rest of his career at Barcelona.

Messi has won the Spanish Primera Liga five times and the Champions Leagues on three occasions since moving to the Catalan club from Argentina in 2000.

The 24-year-old forward believes Barca are one of the greatest club sides of all time and although he likes to watch English football, will not be heading to the Premier League any time soon.

"It's a league I like," he said. "I have friends that are playing there and I follow it as and when I can. Players I like are Kun Aguero and [Wayne] Rooney. These are two players that I like," Messi told Sky Sports.

"The truth is my idea has been to always stay in Barcelona and see out the rest of my career here. Like I always say, one doesn't know what can happen in the future but if it were up to me to decide, I would stay at Barcelona."

C.Ronaldo: Mourinho going nowhere

Cristiano Ronaldo says he is convinced Jose Mourinho will still be Real Madrid coach next season despite speculation linking him to a return to Chelsea.

After Andre Villas-Boas was sacked by Chelsea, and Mourinho was seen house hunting in London last month, media reports claimed he was being lined up for a return to Stamford Bridge, where he won two Premier League titles.

But Ronaldo is confident that his coach is going nowhere. "Mourinho will stay with Real Madrid next season," he told reporters. "But it is the club that is the most important thing and not Mourinho, or me."

Lionel Messi Pops Up in Strange Places, Kid Gets Haircut With Soccer Star's Face

Anthony Mason, eat your heart out. The former N.Y. Knicks star thought he had the hair design game locked up in the late 1980s. But all things come to an end.

Mason had his barber etch the outline of the New York City skyline in his hair decades ago, and set the standard for all to come.

But one kid recently brought the practice back to life, requesting that the likeness of Lionel Messi appear on his head. He had a barber outline Messi's face and number in his hair, so all his friends now will know who is the greatest soccer player on earth.

These things take a long time, so we have to credit the kid's patience and the barber's steady hand for the work.

Sergio Ramos: Sex Faces

Here comes again the gossiping of Real Madrid super star, Sergio Ramos.

Click the picture to watch the video!

The technology has advanced to such an extent that player performance can be monitored via their shoes, managers are keeping control of their charges’ off-pitch activities via GPS (sort of) and everyone with a smartphone is an Oscar winner in-waiting. We might get there one day, too. Imagine the scenes!

While we think about that and laugh for a bit, why not amuse yourselves by sharing any footie fangirl videos you have made/seen/heard about? We know there are loads of them out there, but even with our work ethic we can’t be expect to locate all of the good ones.

Use the epic ‘Sergio Ramos – Sex Faces’ video above as inspiration, and link to whatever you has been tickling you, providing it is (relatively) clean, amusing and well dressed. We’re dying to see what you come up with!

Mourinho not returning to Chelsea or Inter?

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has admitted his love for previous clubs Chelsea and Inter, but intimated his affection for the duo should not be overestimated.

It had emerged that fans of the Blues and the Nerazzurri were heard chanting their one-time trainer's name during their respective matches over the weekend, seemingly longing for a return of their successful former coach.

But speaking after the Blancos' routine 4-0 victory over Racing Santander on Saturday, although the 48-year-old responded positively to the news, he hinted that a second spell at either club was not presently in his thoughts.

"I have much love for Chelsea and Inter," said Mourinho. "[However], I prefer to support these teams and hear the fans sing my name."

Mourinho then took the time out to clarify a report in one Madrid-based newspaper, which took a swipe at the former Porto man for his reluctance in selecting Cantera players, namely defender Daniel Carvajal.

However, after it was then revealed that Carvajal was actually suspended from participating on Saturday, he proceeded to indirectly attack the publication, labeling its report as a form of "disastrous" journalism.

"When we do our job, coaches are still criticized. When you're wrong you must also be criticized," he continued. "So you cannot ask for a player, who is suspended, to play. The present quality of journalism is disastrous."

Real Madrid has moved provisionally 13 points clear of archrival Barcelona at the Liga summit.
