Di Matteo brought luck to the Blues

This is the first time in Chelsea history after they have won the Champions League by a penalty shoot-out win over Bayern Munich, and they have a lot of individual heroic performances to thank for the glory.

Though the defending as a whole will no doubt be attributed to an overall team effort, some players stood out above the others and in truth there were a few holes to be patched up in the defence and only some extremely shoddy finishing by Bayern Munich failed to punish the blues more fully.

Chelsea should credit Di Matteo for the trophies he brought in. The blues under Di Matteo for 20 matches only, but they have won FA CUP, and now the Champions League. Who know Di Matteo can did it?

Di Matteo adopted defensive style and brought his luck for the blues to win the Champions League. The Hero, Drogba scored a late goal on the 88th for the chance to have a draw in 90 minutes. Even more, he scored the winning goal in 4-3 penalty shoot-out.

Chelsea and the fans have to thank to Di Matteo, the hero Drogba and all the defenders.
