£75m of the clash of Both Manchester Clubs in transfer market

Hazard, Cavani, Llorente
Both Manchester clubs are set to be in the war for this summer transfer market, which caused £75m to bring in players. As both clubs are in the title race and preparing for the next season. This season, Manchester United and Manchester City are not doing well in European stage.

The clubs were failed to secure their Champions League title race and even in the Europa League.

In a bid to strengthen for the domestic and European next term, Ferguson and his derby rival club manager are clashed in with Napoli striker, Cavani and Spaniard Llorente.

Bilbao striker Llorente also impressed Fergie in scoring in both legs for Bilbao last month that cost United progress in the Europa League. Lille’s sought-after 21-year-old Eden Hazard is also set to be at the centre of a toe-to-toe battle in Manchester. Both managers have observed Hazard in different matches. “I am flattered by the compliment coming from the top manager in world football,” said Hazard. “I did not know he was at the game, to be honest. “Manchester United are a very top team and anyone would listen to them.” Fergie is looking to inject pace into his Reds squad and said of the Belgian this week: “I can confirm Hazard is a very good player. “He has so many qualities, he is very fast over the first 10 metres.” Hazard, meanwhile, has a fan in City’s own Belgian international Vincent Kompany. The Blues’ skipper says that Hazard could be as good as David Silva in the future and has the ability to succeed anywhere.

Iker Muniain becomes Expensive

The word from Muniain’s representative said at least £30 million if Manchester United wants the player.

Is it possible that Man Utd will break out record for the young midfielder?

Juventus is reportedly linked with Iker Muniain as well, but the representative Jesus Medina said Muniain is unlikely end up in Italy.

Cavani is looking to leave Napoli?

After a game, Cavani answered to a question from the media asking if he would be at Napoli for the next season, ‘I don’t know – the club has to deal with many kinds of things that will be happened’. He continues ‘to stay or to leave, it’s not yet my option to prefer; the club is the first to decide. However, I will continue to give my all for the team as long as I’m here.

Sounds like he’s not sure about his future at Napoli whereby City and Chelsea have been linked with him.

Ferguson launches a bid for Baines as low as £5million?

Sir Alex Ferguson is looking for suitable left-back replacement of the 31-year-old Frenchman, Patrice Evra.

The Man Utd manager has identified a possible move successor of the Everton left-back, Leighton Baines.

Ferguson believes that he could land a bid for Baines as low as £5million since the Everton’s financial situation could be worst.

However, there are more to go for Ferguson since David Moyes is trying to keep all his top players.

Fellaini doubts staying at Everton?

Fellaini has signed a new five-year contract last November but is understood to have doubts about his future in Everton.

The Belgium International has told his friends that he like playing in the English Premier League and happy with Everton. However, the big concern is his ambitions for the next level since Everton seems not to match that level.

The suitors to that level as listed are Chelsea and Arsenal.

Manchester United still the world's richest football club

The study estimates the Premier League champions are worth £1.4bn, which puts them top of the list for the eighth year in a row.

Real Madrid are ranked second, valued at £1.17bn, while Barcelona are third with an estimated value of £816m.

Forbes

"Manchester United's global fan base of 330m helps make them the most valuable team in any sport," said Forbes.com.

Bayern Munich and Arsenal make up the top five in the rankings, with Chelsea and Liverpool ranked seventh and eighth respectively.

Tottenham Hotspur are just outside the top 10 in 11th place, with Manchester City up to 13th in the list.

Arsenal blow as Montolivo agrees AC Milan

Arsenal have been handed a transfer blow after long-time target Riccardo Montolivo agreed a pre-contract deal to join AC Milan on a free transfer this summer.

Fiorentina Midfielder, who had been tracked by a host of Premier League sides including Arsenal over the last year, will join Milan on a four-year contract worth £2m a season.

The Fiorentina midfielder turned down several offers of a new contract at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in order to secure his path to the Serie A champions.

Milan’s acquisition of Montolivo places question marks over the long-term future of on-loan Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani, who had been expected to make his move to the San Siro permanent this summer.

Hernanes wants Arsenal move?

First, 26-year-old Brazilian playmaker Hernanes reportedly wants a move from Lazio to Arsenal, according to talkSport. Anzhi Makhachkala are also interested.

It is understood that Lazio's asking price is double the £9 million they paid for Hernanes in 2010.

Bale wants Barca move?

"Gareth is calm, but I am sure that he would like to play at Barca," he told COM Radio.

Sandro then admitted that he would also like to ply his trade with the Blaugrana.

"I will work hard to play at Barca some day, because they are the best club in the world," the Brazilian added.

Manchester United to launch a bid for Nicolas Gaitan

Sir Alex Ferguson has been strongly linked with a move for the 24 year old Benfica man who has been in stunning form for the Lisbon side ever since he moved to the Estádio da Luz from Boca Juniors in the summer of 2010. The Argentine international has notched up 23 goals and 13 assists in the 85 appearances he has made for Jorge Jesus’s side and was especially productive during the club’s Champions League run this season.

Ferguson has been linked with a number of creative central midfield talents over the past 18 months and a move for Gaitan could be considered a more cost effective option than pushing on with interest in the likes of Wesley Sneijder and Luka Modric, both of whom could well have involved a pretty hefty price tag and exorbitant wages.

Sir Alex Ferguson is well known for his purchasing of players from the Portuguese leagues having previously brought in Bebe as well as Anderson, Cristiano Ronaldo and winger Nani in the last few years.

With this, do you think Ferguson will launch a bid for Nicolas Gaitan?

Berbatov in exchange of Modric

Luka Modric
Berbatov

Manchester United could offer the striker, Berbatov a return to Tottenham in a part-exchange move for Luka Modric. Why should Man Utd got a deal like this?

Since Berbatov’s concern is not getting first-team football," said Ferguson last week. Berbatov doubted to sign a new contract with Man Utd. He is likely to leave this summer and a return is quite possible while Man Utd plot their sign on Modric.

This has been reportedly said the transfer in exchange is the possibility that Berbatov could be in the first-team as he wishes.

Sneijder still under Man United plot

For several seasons now, Dutch star Wesley Sneijder has been linked to Manchester United

His amazing performances for Inter Milan have made him one of the hottest players in the world.

As an attacking-midfielder, Sneijder combines his speed, agility, silky dribbling skills and ability to both scoring and assisting.

Throughout his career, Sneijder has played regularly for his country and represented a number of tops clubs around Europe.

Since Paul Schole is in the age of retirement, Michael Carrick does not provide the attacking threat, nor does Darren Fletcher, while both Anderson and Cleverly are too young and inexperienced to slot straight into the role, Man United should open their bank for the signing of Sneijder.

What do you think?

Dempsey linked with United

If you're still surprise about the interest of big England clubs on Dempsey, meaning you are not paying attention on EPL.

With a year left on his contract after the end of this season – a record-breaking campaign for Duece and Americans abroad in general – the suitors are apparently lining up to give the 29-year-old veteran a chance to play in the Champions League should he decide to leave Fulham, the only club he's known outside of Major League Soccer.

After scoring two more goals against Bolton this weekend, a performance that gave Dempsey 21 strikes on the season in all competitions, reports in England are tossing around names such as Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United as potential summer destinations for the American midfielder.

Fulham manager Martin Jol is realistic about the fate of his star, admitting he could be facing life without Dempsey should the right offer come along.

Ten-men Reds grabbed a minimum win.

Andy Carroll celebrates his dramatic winner for Liverpool

Liverpool's third choice goalkeeper Brad Jones found himself thrust into the spotlight, while Andy Carroll ensured that he's worth 35 million pound after snatching a stoppage-time winner in a 3-2 epic at Blackburn.

The highlight of the match probably was Alexander Doni, deputising for the suspended Reina, being sent off midway through the first half, meaning Brad Jones had to make his EPL debut. The Australian who had just make two appearances since summer of 2010, is now the only senior goalkeeper available for Wembley - the club's top priority at the moment.

Last night he had up and down, saving the penalty that his predecessor but making a mess of a backpass and fouling Yakubu which lead to the equalizer. He might have been affected by a weird week after Maxi Rodriguez's two goals put Liverpool in the lead after just 16 minutes. However, after saving the penalty, he was beaten twice by Yakubu before Carroll came to rescue him and Liverpool, to grab the first win after 5 league games.

Liverpool was lucky that the Referee Anthony Taylor was lenient to show only a yellow booking, otherwise the club found themselves in a very tough position. Though epic as it was, the game brought what Liverpool needed.

Mancini: Title Race is not over yet

Manchester City will not give up and will fight until the last moment to claim an unlikely crown, according to the club's manager.

Mancini's men led the league for the first half of the season with a spectacular performance, however everything has been going down hill for them. And now they are trailing behind the neighbor with 8 points gap. The two clubs meet in the derby on 30th April. Mancini still thinks that his team has a fighting chance.

Roberto Mancini"It's not over yet. In football, it's never finished," he said. "For this reason, I believe always. But we did a fantastic season and we need to finish well.

"It's not easy, but we need to think positively. I'm proud of all my player for what we did until today. We now need to continue to win to get the maximum points we can. Then we will see".

There is a chance that Ferdinand and his team-mates could clinch their 20th championship at Etihad Stadium, but the Italian insisted that he will only be focused on his side.

"I don't know this. I just know today we have 15 points more than we had at this stage last year," he stated.

"So I can say we did well. Not it's really difficult for us to win the title. But we hope that they can lose three or four points before the derby and after that we'll see. I repeat, six games to the end. 18 points. Never say never."

Mancini is ready to off Balotelli

Balotelli got red card at Emirate Staduim
Mancini revealed Balotelli is ready on the transfer list this summer.

The City striker again found himself in the spotlight for the wrong reasons after his red card at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Upon Balotelli’s red card, asked for how long the City manager could put up with Balotelli's antics, Mancini said: "I am finished. We have six games and he will not play in the next six games."

Pushed further on whether he would try to sell Balotelli at the end of the season, Mancini replied: "Probably - but I don't know. It depends, because Balotelli is a fantastic player.

"I can continue to play with Mario on the pitch. Every time, we risk one sent off, like today.

"But he can score also in the last minute."

Barca wants Geovinco

In accordance to the player's agent, Sebastian Giovinco is a target of Barcelona.

Giovinco, 25, is part-owned by Juventus and has been strongly linked with a move away from Parma this summer.

"I know that Barcelona has followed Giovinco for some time,'' Giovinco's agent, Antonio D'Amico, told Sportal.it. That a club like Barcelona shows an interest in him gives us great pleasure.

"Giovinco is an important player, he is talented, technically gifted and it's normal that clubs are interested in him.''

Giovinco has scored ten goals in 28 league appearances for Parma this season. "He is doing really well and he will play at Euro 2012,'' D'Amico said.

"As (Italy coach Cesare) Prandelli has stated, he is one of the most talented players in Italy and the European Championship will give him an opportunity to showcase his talent.''

City Hopes All Over?

Manchester City's pursuit of the Premier League title looks to be all over after Arteta netted the deciding goal in last night match, marketing the 7th win of the gunner in the last 8 games. Earlier in the day, Manchester United beat the 10 men QPR 2-0, to widen the gap to 8 points.

Mikel Arteta's late goal earned all three points against Man City. The second placed team was defeated 1-0, trailing 8 points behind MU. With 6 games left, it seems to be an impossible mission for City, given the stability of the Red Devil since 2012, plus they have been in this situation for too long to lose their grip at critical moments. The results also sees Arsenal return to third place, with 5 points clear of fifth-placed Chelsea.

Arsenal has the better momentum heading into the match, and enjoyed the better of an opening period in which City saw key midfielder Yaya Toure limp off with a knee problem.

After endless opportunity, Arsene Wenger's men got the reward they deserved with Arteta's low drive beat Hart from 20 yards, and City's misery was worsened when Balotelli was sent off after the second yellow card.

In earlier game, QPR went down to 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford after having had to play 75 minutes with 10 men.

Van Persie's sexy WAG

Van Persie is well-known as a Dutch footballer who plays for Arsenal F.C and the Dutch national as a creative forward. Talking about this soccer star, people can’t ignore his first serious lover. The son of two artists Van Persie has a very romantic relationship with Bouchra, a Dutch-Moroccan beauty.

The couple started to date when they were 19 years old in Holland. Despite many obstacles from the girl’s family, Van Persie married to Bouchra and has a son named Shaqueel and a daughter named Dina Layla. The family of four people currently lives in Hampstead, North London.

Andy Carroll wants a return?

Andy Carroll is of course unable to do anything about the amount of money Liverpool shelled out for his services but the simple fact is that even if the Anfield side had spent a third of the amount that they did, it would still be deemed an expensive mistake, such has been the lack of quality shown by the big striker.

The 23 year old has steadfastly failed to prove himself and has been given ample chance to do so and the fact that the England man has failed to form a partnership with Luis Suarez may well spell the end for Carroll at the Merseyside club.

A return to Newcastle United seems unlikely and not just because of the wages the forward would demand but also because Alan Pardew has two top class, in-form, striking options in Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse, who’s combined cost comes in at just £10m.

Madrid offers City €10m + Higuain for Aguero

According to Spanish newspaper AS there has already been an offer for the Man City Striker, and Mourinho has given the sign ‘go-ahead’. Sergio 'Kun' Aguero is going to be Real Madrid's number one target this summer.

Real Madrid will offer City Gonzalo Higuain plus 10 million Euros for Aguero. According to journalist Guillem Balague, the reason for Aguero wanting to leave, is that he is not happy with his life in Manchester, and would rather go back to a league and city he is already familiar with.

Aguero, who arrived at Manchester City last summer for 45 million Euros (£37m) has already informed Mancini of his wish to leave the English team, and has made no secret of the fact that he would love to be a 'merengue'.

Higuain would be a great exchange, and since Mancini will lose Aguero, and apparently wanting to sell both Carlos Tevez and Dzeko, Higuain would be first choice striker at City.

Europa Last Four

Spanish football continued to show its dominance as Valencia, Athletic Bilbao and Atletico Madrid all advanced to semi finals of Europa League, with only the Portuguese team Sporting joining them in the last four.

Adil Rami Valencia celeb v AZAtletico Madrid outplayed Hannover in the 2-1 win despite playing in away ground. The Rojiblancos led 2-1 in the first leg and widen the gap by taking the lead at 63rd minute. The host replied with an equalizer, but in-form Spanish team bagged another goal to secure their place in the semi.

Valencia produced the night's most impressive display, turning the table around with the 4 star win over AZ although they lost 1 goal in the first leg. Valencia will take on fellow La Liga Atlectico Madrid.

The other semi will see the battle between Sporting and Athletic Bilbao, who completed the trio of Spanish clubs, after they twice came from behind to end the match at 2-2 and advanced to semi as they won the first leg 4-2. Another draw, 1-1, secured Sporting place in the semi with aggregated scored of 3-2.

Mancini would punch Balotelli?

Manchester City boss has claimed that he'd punch Mario Balotelli in the face if he were a team-mate. Balotelli, 21, has again made the headlines during the Sunderland game last weekend. The forwarder also engaged in a public quarrel with Kolarov over who should take the free-kick, sparking further complaints against the former Inter Milan player.

Mario Balotelli Roberto ManciniSpeaking ahead of a vital EPL match as City will face Arsenal on Sunday, Mancini stated that: "I can understand it. I told him. If you played with me, ten years ago, I give to you every day one punch in your head!"

"I think in every big game he played very well. I think his problem is concentration but I work with him everyday.

"I speak with him - not everyday because if not I need a psychologist - but every two days I speak with him. He doesn't lose his quality. Mario, as a player, can be one of the top in Europe. I don't want him to lose his talent."

Chelsea and Real Advance to Semi

Although playing with 10 men squad, Benfica was able to shorten the odds with a goal at 85'. This certainly wasn't enough, and the matter was concluded at 91' when Raul Meireles ended the game with another goal for Chelsea.

Chelsea Frank Lampard team celeb v BEnfica Raul Meireles scored a late goal at 91' to secure an aggregated 3-1 for the Stamford Bridge team last night, where they beat Benfica 2-1. Chelsea's win was considered by many a stroke of lucks awarded by the referee.   The penalty controversial decision at 21' was executed neatly by Lampard gave the Blues the lead. Further decision favoring Chelsea at 40', saw the referee sent off Benfica captain.

On the other quarter final of the night, Real Madrid cruised past APOEL Nicoisa, thrashing the minnows 5-2 at  Bernabeu to secure a convincing aggregate victory of 8-2.

Cristiano Ronaldo bagged a brace, the second of which was the first free kick he scored this season, making his overall goal to 49.

APOEL tried its best, having scored two away goals, Manduca netting to make it 3-1 and Solari converting a penalty for 4-2 as the historic campaign of the Cypriots finally came to an end.

Balotelli can be a fool, said De Jong

Nigel De Jong remonstrates with Mario Balotelli Manchester City Midfielder states that Mario Balotelli can bow to pressure to pull of some crazy stunt - but also can produce moments of "genius".

Balotelli has been in numerous of scandal ever since moving to England from Inter Milan, yet his talent is clear for everyone, having scored 13 goals in 13 EPL starts this season.

De Jong told the Sun "Sometimes Mario can be a fool and at other times he is a genius - there are two sides of him. Lots of people expect him to pull crazy stunts and as a result he feels he must do something. People like that need to have upheaval in their lives in order to perform."

De Jong agreed with City's manager Macini, who suggested that Balotelli should get married with his current girlfriend in order to behave himself. Marriage tends to clam people down somehow.

Tottenham fears losing Bale

Bernabeu side have leapfrogged bitter rivals in race to land the 22-year-old, who is rated in the £40m-plus bracket by Spurs, even though he is said to prefer a move to Camp Nou

A number of senior Spurs figures expect the Bernabeu to be the player’s next port of call. The commercial riches of Real mean they are better placed than any club to satisfy Uefa’s new financial fair play regulations and continue hunting the ‘Galactico’ signings that have been their trademark for the last decade.

Nevertheless, Spurs sources are confident that Bale will be a Tottenham player at the start of the 2012-13 season if they clinch a top-four finish even if, as expected, Redknapp takes residence in the Wembley dugout.

A move abroad this summer is likely to be 12 months too early for Bale, who turns 23 in July and is regarded as bashful by nature and fond of his home comforts.

The end of Linsanity?

It's possible that we've seen the last of Linsanity for the 2011-2012 NBA season.

The New York Knicks announced on Sunday that guard Jeremy Lin will undergo arthroscropic surgery to repair a "small, chronic meniscal tear" in his left knee. He's expected to miss six weeks, which puts his season in jeopardy.

"I want to be out there helping the team. It's a 6 week rehabilitation process but I heal quickly so we'll see," Lin said, according to the Knicks. "When I come back I'll be stronger than I ever was and a better player."

"It's a big blow," Knicks interim coach Mike Woodson said, according to The New York Times.

The Knicks play their final regular season game of the year on April 26, less than four weeks away. New York is currently the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference with a record of 26-26. The Knicks hold a 1.5 game lead over the Milwaukee Bucks, the East's No. 9 seed, with 14 games remaining on their schedule. There's a chance that Lin could be available for the playoffs, assuming the Knicks qualify, but first round series are scheduled to begin on April 28. The Knicks are not expected to advance to the second round.

Lin has missed New York's last three games due to the injury, last playing against the Detroit Pistons on March 24. New York is 2-1 in his absence.

Woodson has started Baron Davis and Iman Shumpert in his backcourt and used J.R. Smith, Mike Bibby and Toney Douglas off the bench.

Lin, a Taiwanese-American, rose to international stardom earlier this season when he had a sensational month after moving into the Knicks starting lineup. Lin went undrafted out of Harvard and was released by both the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets before his breakout in New York.

Lin, 23, is averaging 14.6 points, 6.1 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 26.9 minutes per game for the Knicks this season.
